Los Angeles-based bag company, IGNOBLE, recently released a their brand new Lorna Case Backpack, a men's shoulder bag that converts into a soft briefcase.
The sleek and simple bag is constructed from ballistic nylon and is fully lined with a nylon Ripstop interior; and features padded straps, a padded airmesh back, a top-of-bag exterior stash-pocket, a generous dual-zippered file-folder compartment, and a large dual-zippered main compartment with internal hanging-pocket and book-sleeve.
One of the Lorna's highlights, however, is its shoulder strap restraint system that allows the backpack to be quickly converted into a side-carry briefcase, for convenient and balanced carrying via the bag's soft exterior briefcase-style handle.
For those unfamilar with IGNOBLE, the Los Angeles-based brand is fairly new. Launched in 2009 by two brothers, they pride themselves and manufactured their items in the U.S.A. All of their bags are hand assembled in small runs by a military-grade soft goods production facility.
"We believe in and support our local economy," IGNOBLE says on their website. "If nothing else, when combined with our skills and ambitions, it keeps us safe and warm."
